Some backlit screens (on the AGS-101 models) seem to experience some degree of flicker resembling interlacing. This can be remedied by adjusting a pot inside the system.
Mods
Backlight mod replaces the screen of the original GBA with the nicer AGS-101 screen used in some GBA SP models.
Consolizer kit by Woozle removes the screen in favor of an HDMI output so the GBA can be used as a home console. Also available as a more console-like box.
Accessories
Everdrive – flash cart from Krikzz. Game Boy Everdrives are also compatible and recommended for GB and GBC games since the GBA Everdrive uses emulation for those systems.
